Comments about the season so far?
- We have been doing ok considering the many injuries we've had. There is always room for improvement. Never be satisfied.
How would you describe the team and your teammates?
- The team is real good I believe. Young and good. Four lines that can play. Defence is real strong and two great goalies as well. The guys have been very accepting towards myself. They have helped me with everything which I appreciate very much. Very fun loving teammates.

How is Vladimir Kolek as a coach?
- He's very emotional behind the bench and during practice. Sometimes it feels like he wants to still be playing. Good to have a coach with that kind of passion.
What has it been like to live in Kouvola?
- So far so good. Not so much to do but it's nice for some quiet time. The people have been nice and I think the city is nice in it's own way.

- Worst: *lots of snow *shops are closed on sundays *?
- Best: *Bars are open till 4 *They love hockey in Finland *Not alot of traffic

Looked up to my dad. He was and is a hard worker at whatever he does.
Who's your favorite hockey player?
- Saku Koivu.
What kind of music do you like? Favorite bands?
- I like all music. But my cd collection has a lot of rap, reggae and rock. Bob Marley, 2 pac, Metallica.
What's it like to have Mike and Kory on the team? Are you good friends?
- It's great to have a couple of canadians on the team especially good friends. I played with Kory last year in Sweden. Mike lives close to me back in Toronto and I've also played with him many years. It's good to be able to talk some slang with them.

Can you speak any finnish? Who's been teaching you?
- I've been trying to learn as much as I can. Terve (Hello), hyvä (good), and many more as well. Everyone helps on the team and outside. Honki, Juice and Ore have helped alot and been patient with me.

- I like to play creative, skilled hockey. Lots of skating ans passing. Being smart with and without the buck.
Are you superstitious? Do you have any magical routines that you have to do before each match?
- I try not to be supertitious which I think makes me little supertitious. I always try and do something different than the game before telling myself you don't need to do that to play well. Hope you understood that one. Not so superstitious. Just laugh and have fun before every game.

How's the game different here in Finland from what it was last season in Sweden?
- The game is more canadian. Harder shoting, more hits and once in a while a slash when the ref is not looking.
What do you do on the bus when you're travelling somewhere to play?
- Watch movies, listen to my ipod and talk to the guys. I like to look outside as well and think where I am.
You almost always win the buck when the referee throws it on ice. What's your secret?
- Be quicker or just smarter than the other guy. No secret, just reaction.
Two things you'd take with you to a desert island?
- Food and a friend.
Anything you want to say to all the fans?
- It's great having you guys at our games. I think you need to be less embarrassed or shy in the stands and sing or make more noice. Everyone is too shy in Finland. Be yourselves! Thanks for your support. Hopefully we can win the championship for all you.
Thanks for the interview, George!
